Nomination Acceptance and Rejection Details for Coimbatore and Pollachi Parliamentary Constituencies

Ahead of the Tamil Nadu parliamentary elections on April 19, nomination scrutiny in Coimbatore results in 41 out of 59 nominations accepted and 18 rejected. In Pollachi, 18 out of 44 nominations were accepted and 11 rejected.


Coimbatore: With the parliamentary elections in Tamil Nadu scheduled for April 19, the nomination process concluded on March 27 after beginning on March 20. The following day, March 28, saw the scrutiny of nominations at the Coimbatore District Collector's office.In the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency, of the 59 nominations filed, 41 have been accepted while 18 were rejected. Similarly, in the Pollachi parliamentary constituency, out of the 44 nominations submitted, 18 were accepted, and 11 were rejected.

This nomination scrutiny phase is a crucial step in the lead-up to the elections, determining the final list of candidates who will contest in these constituencies.
