PM's roadshow in Coimbatore: Police remove vehicles parked along roadside in the RS Puram area

In preparation for the Prime Minister's visit, police in R.S. Puram, Coimbatore, are intensively monitoring the area, enforcing the removal of two-wheeled vehicles parked near the post office on March 18, including one belonging to a BJP member.

Coimbatore: As the city gears up for the anticipated visit of the Prime Minister, police forces have heightened their vigilance, particularly in the R.S. Puram area. In this context, on March 18, near the R.S. Puram Post Office, police were seen insisting on the removal of two-wheeled vehicles that had been left parked for an extended period.

In a robust display of security measures, the police physically relocated these vehicles to clear the vicinity along the Prime Minister's expected route. During this operation, a two-wheeler owned by an individual affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was among those moved. The owner, who had parked his vehicle for work-related reasons, later engaged in discussions with the police and was able to retrieve his vehicle.

This incident highlights the strict security protocols in place to ensure the safety and smooth progression of the Prime Minister's itinerary. Such measures reflect the authorities' commitment to maintaining order and preventing any disruptions during high-profile visits.
