Today, members of the Telugu Samithi of Coimbatore organised an event to celebrate the auspicious Ugadi festival at Rajasthani Sangh Hall, RS Puram.
Thousands of Andhra Community people settled in Coimbatore took part in the celebrations with gusto. Speaking on this day-long celebration, they stated that this is the first time they have joined together to celebrate Ugadi in the city. And, definitely this get together has helped them know each other and build new relationships.
The event commenced with a pooja ceremony, following which Rashi phalalu (astrological predictions) for the Telugu New Year was announced. A musical concert on Annamacharya Keerthana undoubtedly mesmerized the audience. Following which a discourse by Prasad Guruji from Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh was hosted.

The main guest for the event was Tulasidaran Director of Rajarathana Mills and G Prakash Reddy, Director of Coimbatore International Airport was the Chief Guest for the celebration.
The Telugu-speaking people thoroughly enjoyed the event and exchanged their Ugadi greetings to one another.
