Coimbatore District Collector Launches Voter Pledge, Signature Campaign, and Selfie Points Ahead of Parliamentary Elections

In an effort to boost voter awareness and ensure 100 percent voting, Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati inaugurated selfie points, voter pledge, and signature campaign on March 14, promoting civic participation.

Coimbatore: With the parliamentary elections fast approaching, the government has intensified its efforts to engage the public in the electoral process. One key initiative aimed at achieving 100% voter turnout is raising awareness among citizens about their electoral responsibilities.

As part of this awareness campaign, selfie points have been set up in Coimbatore, inaugurated by Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati on March 14. Prior to this, the Collector launched a voter pledge and signature campaign, symbolizing the importance of every single vote in shaping the future of democracy.

Following the inauguration, officials and the public participated in the signature campaign at the Collector's office, further committing to the cause by taking photographs at the newly established selfie points.

These initiatives are accompanied by banners with slogans such as "Election Season - The Pride of the Nation," "Our Goal is 100% Voting," and "My Vote, My Right," underscoring the essence of voting as a fundamental democratic right.

Furthermore, to ensure widespread participation, selfie points and banners promoting the signature campaign are being placed in high-traffic public areas across Coimbatore District. This strategic placement aims to maximize visibility and encourage civic engagement, reminding citizens of their crucial role in the democratic process.

This comprehensive campaign reflects the administration's commitment to not just increasing voter turnout but also educating the public on the significance of their vote in steering the nation's democratic journey.
