Various Development Projects Initiated in Coimbatore's 92nd Ward

Development of Park worth Rs. 12 lakh in Indira Nagar and Palaniappa Nagar, and stormwater drain and bridge construction worth Rs. 13 lakh in B K Pudur under the municipal corporation's public fund started in Coimbatore's 92nd ward by Deputy Mayor Vetri Selvan on March 13.


Coimbatore: A series of development projects have been launched in the 92nd ward of Coimbatore, marking a significant step towards enhancing the area's infrastructure and resident's quality of life. Deputy Mayor Vetri Selvan inaugurated these projects on March 13, which are set to transform the landscape of Indira Nagar, Palaniappa Nagar, and the surrounding areas.

The projects, funded under the municipal corporation's public fund, include the development of a park in Indira Nagar and Palaniappa Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs. 12 lakh. Additionally, a crucial initiative to construct a stormwater drain and a small bridge in P.K. Pudur has begun, with an investment of Rs. 13 lakh. These infrastructural developments are aimed at improving drainage, reducing water logging, and facilitating smoother transportation within the ward.



The inauguration was attended by DMK party officials and volunteers, reflecting the collective effort and commitment towards the welfare of the community in the 92nd ward. These projects are anticipated to not only enhance the civic amenities but also to uplift the overall living conditions in the region.
