Young Man Dies in Bike Collision Near Thudiyalur

Deepak, a 21-year-old from Coimbatore's Kavundampalayam, tragically lost his life in a bike collision near Thudiyalur on March 12, with two others injured in the incident.


Coimbatore: A grave accident occurred near Thudiyalur, leading to the tragic death of a young man and injuries to two others. Deepak, 21, from Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore, was riding with his friend Velukumar, 19, a private company employee, on March 12 when their bike was struck by another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction.

The impact of the collision threw all three individuals to the ground. Deepak sustained severe injuries and died on the spot, marking a sorrowful end to the young life. Velukumar and the rider of the opposing bike, identified only as Chinnathurai, were also injured in the accident. Bystanders rushed them to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for treatment.

The traffic police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. This unfortunate event has once again highlighted the critical need for road safety awareness and strict adherence to traffic rules to prevent such tragic accidents.
