A new medical building worth 9 crores was inaugurated via video conference by Chief Minister MK Stalin in Valparai, Coimbatore district, addressing the space and infrastructure constraints of the existing government hospital.

Coimbatore: In an effort to enhance healthcare infrastructure, Chief Minister MK Stalin, through a video conference today, inaugurated a new medical building valued at 9 crores at the government hospital in Valparai, Coimbatore district. This inauguration comes as part of Chief Minister's visit to the Pollachi region, aimed at launching various welfare initiatives and new buildings to boost the area's development.

Valparai's government hospital had been facing significant challenges due to deteriorating infrastructure and a lack of space, which compromised the delivery of healthcare services in the region. In response, a contract was signed to construct a new building at a cost of 9 crores, aimed at addressing these critical issues. After months of construction, the completion of this building marks a significant improvement in the healthcare facilities available to the local community.

The newly inaugurated medical building is expected to alleviate the space constraints and provide state-of-the-art medical facilities to the residents of Valparai and surrounding areas. By enhancing the hospital's capacity and infrastructure, the Tamil Nadu government demonstrates its commitment to improving healthcare services and ensuring that adequate medical care is accessible to all.
