Chief Minister MK Stalin Highlights Governance Achievements and Critiques AIADMK's many previous term failures

At a welfare event near Pollachi, Chief Minister MK Stalin critiques the previous AIADMK regime's failures, including the infamous Pollachi incident, Sterlite Shootings and outlines his administration's commitment to delivering benefits to all citizens, contrasting with unfulfilled promises from the past.

Coimbatore: In a welfare distribution event held near Pollachi in the Aachipatti area, Chief Minister MK Stalin took the opportunity to address the gathering, underscoring his administration's efforts to provide for the people's welfare and to protect Tamil Nadu's rights against the challenges posed by the previous government's failures.

Stalin pointed out, "For ten years, the administration failed to deliver on its promises to the people. How can we list the benefits brought to the Western region by the AIADMK ministers? What good did they do for the Western region? The Pollachi incident alone left every parent in distress, highlighting the abuse and exploitation women suffered under the last regime. The subsequent actions, or lack thereof, resembled a drama rather than a sincere effort to address the grievance, with witnesses being intimidated and victims' details carelessly disclosed."

He vehemently criticized the AIADMK-BJP alliance, accusing it of deceiving the people and staging dramas of governance while failing to enact any substantial welfare or developmental projects. "Today, those who failed to file a charge sheet in such cases wear the cloak of righteousness. It's nothing but a theatrical display, attempting to deceive the people again," Stalin remarked, emphasizing the need for a supportive Union government to achieve tenfold progress.

Stalin's speech resonated with his commitment to uplift Tamil Nadu and safeguard the state's interests against any form of injustice or negligence. His administration's focus remains on enhancing the welfare of all citizens, in stark contrast to the unfulfilled promises and misgovernance of the previous government.
