Farooq is survived by his parents,wife Rasheeda (31) and two kids. Immediately after his death, financial supports have been pouring in help the victim's family. Members of Dravida Vidudhalai Kalagam have been gathering support through social media to assist financial support to the Farooq's family.
Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, an Islamic organisation recently visited Farooq's family and expressed their condolences. They have also announced that their organization will take up the educational expense of Farooq's children, Hanafa (8) and Afrath (11) who are studying in Islamic Arabic School, Ukkadam.
