Nilgiris MP A. Raja Corners BJP for receiving ₹6,500 Crore Funding from Adani and Others

During a public meeting in Coimbatore, DMK MP A. Raja raised allegations against Prime Minister Modi for receiving ₹6,500 crore in secret funding from Adani and other industrialists, questioning the impact on India's democracy.

Coimbatore: In a fervent speech delivered at a public meeting organized by the DMK in Coimbatore, MP A. Raja brought to light serious allegations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The gathering, which was held to mark the 71st birthday of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, turned into a platform for discussing broader national concerns. Raja claimed that Prime Minister Modi had received a substantial sum of ₹6,500 crore from industrial giants, including Adani, in what he described as covert transactions.

The allegations come amid Raja's praise for Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's efforts to safeguard India from what he perceives as detrimental policies enacted under Modi's leadership. Raja's speech emphasized the unique position of the DMK in promoting social justice, equality, and the advancement of Tamil culture and language. He highlighted the significance of celebrating the legacies of Dravidian leaders and the party's commitment to public welfare and educational programs.

Furthermore, Raja criticized the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic by the previous administration, applauding Stalin's responsive measures to support affected families financially despite the state's challenging fiscal situation inherited from the previous government.

The spotlight, however, was on Raja's allegations regarding the funding received by Modi, sparking a debate on the transparency and ethical standards of political financing in India. These claims, if substantiated, could have far-reaching implications for the political landscape and the integrity of democratic processes in the country.

The meeting, attended by DMK officials and supporters, served not only as a celebration of Stalin's contributions but also as a critical examination of the current national governance and its implications for democracy in India.
