325 Students Absent for +2 Exams in Coimbatore

On the commencement day of the +2 examinations in Coimbatore on March 1, out of 34,121 students expected to take the language paper, 325 were absent, as reported by the District Education Department.


Coimbatore: The +2 examinations in Coimbatore began on March 1, with a total of 34,121 students registered to participate in the language paper examination. According to the District Education Department, 33,979 students attended the exam through schools, while 142 appeared as private candidates. However, a notable number of 325 students were absent on the first day of the examination.

The reasons behind the absence of these students have not been detailed, but the education department is likely to follow up on these cases to ensure all students have the opportunity to complete their examinations.
