178 Coimbatore Students Receive Rs.5.12 Crore in Educational Loans

In the current year, through special camps, educational loans amounting to Rs.1016 crore have been facilitated, with ongoing endeavors aiming to extend up to Rs.1956 crore in educational assistance.


Coimbatore: On February 29, at Codissia complex, a significant government event "College Dream 2024" ( கல்லூரி கனவு 2024 ) marked a milestone in educational support, as 178 college students from Coimbatore were provided with educational loans totaling Rs.5.12 crore. Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, emphasizing the transformative power of education in achieving equality, officiated the distribution, underscoring the 'Dravidian model' government's focus on prioritizing education across the Indian Union.





The initiative is part of the Tamil Nadu government's broader efforts to ensure that neither poverty nor economic circumstances hinder a student's educational journey.
