Commissioner Orders Tar Road Construction in K.N.G. Pudur Area

Coimbatore City Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS directed the swift completion of underground sewage works and immediate tar road construction in K.N.G. Pudur, Ward No. 15 of the North Zone, during his inspection on February 24, 2024.


Coimbatore: In a move to enhance the infrastructure and ensure better road conditions for the residents, M Sivaguru Prabakaran IAS, Commissioner of the Coimbatore City Corporation, inspected the main road in K.N.G. Pudur, falling under Ward No. 15 of the North Zone, today, February 24, 2024.



The Commissioner oversaw the ongoing underground sewage works in the area and issued orders to the concerned officials to expedite the completion of these works. Following the completion, he has directed for the immediate laying of asphalt roads in the affected areas to restore and improve the road conditions for public use.

Accompanying the Commissioner were Council Member Shanthamani, Assistant Commissioner Sridevi, Assistant Engineer Ezhil, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board Assistant Engineer Manjula, City Corporation Sanitary Officer Radhakrishnan, and Assistant Engineer Ilankovan.

The team's presence underscores the importance placed on completing the infrastructure projects efficiently and enhancing the quality of living in the K.N.G. Pudur area.

This initiative is part of the broader efforts by the Coimbatore City Corporation to improve the city's infrastructure, focusing on road safety and accessibility. The swift action in laying asphalt roads following the sewage works reflects the commitment to maintaining high standards of public amenities and services.
