Coimbatore: A newly installed surveillance camera and control room at the Perur Road Checkpost, which falls under the jurisdiction of Selvapuram Police Station, were inaugurated today (Feb. 19) by Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan. The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Deputy Commissioner Saravanakumar, Assistant Commissioner Ragupathi Raja, Selvapuram Police Station Inspector Selvaraj, Assistant Inspector Subhashini, and several other officers and head constables. This development is part of an initiative to enhance security and monitoring capabilities in the area.
