Aranganathar Temple in Karamadai Commences Chariot Festival with Flag Hoisting

The famed Vaishnavite site, Aranganathar Temple in Karamadai, Coimbatore district, began its grand chariot festival for the Tamil month of Maasi Magam with a ceremonial flag hoisting at 11:35 AM yesterday, attracting thousands of devotees.


Coimbatore: The renowned Aranganathar Temple in Karamadai, celebrated for its spiritual significance among Vaishnavite sites in Coimbatore district, marked the beginning of its grand Maasi Maga Chariot Festival yesterday February 18 at 11:35 AM with a ceremonial flag hoisting. This event heralds the start of the festival, drawing thousands of devotees who thronged to the temple to offer their prayers and receive blessings from the deity.

The congregation of devotees participated in the flag hoisting ceremony, seeking darshan and blessings from Aranganathar.
