Started in April 2016, Helping hearts Hospice Corporation Home celebrated it's first anniversary on 25th March, 2017 at the Siruthuli hall in the presence of Dr. K. Vijayakarthikeyan, Corporation Commissioner and Guest of honour L. Balaji Saravanan Additional SP, Erode district.
Earlier Helping Hearts Hospice was in the Government hospital, where a separate ward was given and bed ridden patients with no care takers were admitted was taken care by the volunteers of the trust.
But now, with the help of the Coimbatore corporation, a separate centre is established with 28 bed ridden patients, where 11 female and 17 male patients are enrolled. The new centre provides all basic facilities for the patients and have nursing staffs and care takers who take care of them 24/7.
The corporation doctor visits the hospice once in a week to ensure the health of these patients.
During the event, all the corporation staffs, supporters, staffs and volunteers of Helping hearts were honored for their tireless efforts and contribution towards serving the needy.
