Tragic Accident on Avinashi Road: One Fatality After Truck Collides With Bike

Karthikeyan (33) from Coimbatore was killed in a collision when a speeding truck hit his bike on Avinashi Road, February 8.


Coimbatore: A tragic accident occurred on Avinashi Road, leading to the death of a 33-year-old man identified as Karthikeyan.

On February 8, while Karthikeyan was riding his two-wheeler, a speeding truck collided with his bike, causing him severe injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The East Coimbatore Traffic Investigation Police have registered a case and are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.

The local community has expressed deep concern over the safety measures on Avinashi Road, urging authorities to implement stricter traffic enforcement to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
