Inaugural Special Train Service from Coimbatore to Ayodhya Launched Today

The first special train service from Coimbatore to Ayodhya, accommodating 745 passengers for Swami Darshan at Ayodhya Ramar Kovil, commenced today, flagged off by BJP National Women's Wing leader and South Coimbatore MLA Vanathi Srinivasan.


Coimbatore: Today marked the commencement of the first special train service from Coimbatore to Ayodhya, facilitating the journey of devotees from various parts of the country to Ayodhya Ramar Kovil for Swami Darshan. This initiative aims to simplify rail travel for pilgrims heading to Ayodhya.





With 745 passengers onboard, the special service was inaugurated by BJP National Women's Wing leader and South Coimbatore MLA, Vanathi Srinivasan, who flagged off the train amidst a festive atmosphere. The event saw the presence of Salem Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Sinha, deputy managers, railway officials, and numerous BJP functionaries, who sent off the devotees with flower showers.

The train, secured by extensive police arrangements and over 100 railway police personnel, is set to reach Ayodhya by Sunday. Bomb detection checks were also conducted with the help of sniffer dogs to ensure the safety of the passengers.

Another special train service from Coimbatore to Ayodhya is scheduled for the 13th of this month, continuing to aid devotees in their spiritual journey.
