Coimbatore District Collector Hosts Public Grievance Redressal Meeting

Coimbatore District Collector, Kranthi Kumar Pati, leads a public grievance redressal meeting at the district office, addressing requests and complaints from citizens, including those from people with disabilities.


Coimbatore: In an initiative to address public concerns directly, the Coimbatore District Collector's office held its regular weekly grievance redressal meeting on Monday, January 29, 2024. The meeting, chaired by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, is a routine event conducted every Monday to listen to and resolve the issues faced by the residents of Coimbatore.

During this session, the District Collector received various petitions and requests from the general public, including individuals with disabilities. The Collector issued immediate orders to find solutions to the grievances presented, demonstrating a proactive approach to public service and governance.

Officials from the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation were also present at the meeting, assisting in addressing the issues raised by the citizens. The grievance redressal meeting is a crucial platform for the administration to connect with the public and understand their challenges, ensuring that their concerns are heard and acted upon promptly.

This initiative is part of the district administration's ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility and responsiveness to the needs of its citizens, ensuring that all segments of the population have a voice in local governance.
