Pollachi to Experience Two-Day Water Supply Cut for Development Work

Commissioner Subbaiah announces a two-day water supply cut in Pollachi on January 22 and 23, 2024, due to development works at Market Road water station.

Coimbatore: Pollachi's Municipal Commissioner Subbaiah has issued a statement regarding an impending water supply disruption. Due to development activities at the Market Road water station, residents of Pollachi will face a water supply cut on January 22 and 23, 2024. The development work is part of the municipality's ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and service delivery.

The commissioner has advised residents to conserve water and use it judiciously during this period. This temporary inconvenience is necessary for the long-term benefit of the city's water supply infrastructure. The Pollachi Municipality is urging the public to store adequate water in advance and to manage their usage efficiently during the two-day interruption.

This planned disruption is indicative of the municipality's commitment to enhancing the city's water facilities. While it may cause short-term challenges for the residents, it is a crucial step towards ensuring a more robust and reliable water supply system for the future.
