Grand Pongal Celebrations in Vadavalli, Coimbatore

Residents of Vadavalli in Coimbatore celebrated Pongal festival with traditional fervor, involving community participation and cultural events.


Coimbatore: The Pongal festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Vadavalli, Coimbatore. On January 15, the wards 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40 under the Vadavalli region witnessed a special celebration of this traditional harvest festival. The community came together to cook Pongal in pots and shared the joy of the festival. Notable attendees included Western Zone Leader Deivanai Tamilmarai, IT Secretary of the Party Tamilmarai, and various other secretaries, administrators, and women from the party who participated in large numbers.
