There was widespread appreciation to the electoral promises of the People’s Welfare Front-DMDK combine, Premalatha Vijayakant said here on Thursday.
Addressing reporters ahead of her public meeting, she said that wherever she or the leaders of the front went to in the State, there was a desire among the voters for a change in government and the yearning for an alternative to the AIADMK and DMK.
That yearning was turning into support for the PWF-DMDK alliance as voters had started appreciating the issues the leaders highlighted in their campaigns.
The Front would soon finalise its candidates and make a formal announcement.
