Awareness Cycle Rally in Coimbatore for Drug-Free Society

Coimbatore City Police organized an awareness cycle rally titled "Drug-Free Coimbatore" starting from the Police Commissioner's office.


Coimbatore: In an effort to raise awareness among the youth against drug addiction, the Coimbatore City Police conducted an awareness cycle rally today. The rally, themed "100% Drug-Free Coimbatore," commenced at 5 AM from the Police Commissioner's office. Covering a distance of 100 kilometers, the event witnessed participation from over 100 individuals.



City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan inaugurated the rally by flagging off and joining the cyclists. The rally routed through Town Hall, Chetty Street, Perur, Pachapalayam, Alandurai, Madampatti, and Saibaba Colony, culminating at the Police Training School Grounds. Participants took an anti-drug pledge and carried banners promoting awareness throughout the journey.
