Two awareness vehicles were flagged off in Coimbatore to promote the upcoming Khelo India Games, set to occur across four districts in Tamil Nadu.

Coimbatore: As part of the initiatives to boost public awareness for the upcoming Khelo India Games, two special vehicles were launched in Coimbatore. The games are scheduled to take place from the 19th to the 31st of January across Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Trichy.

The launch of these awareness vehicles is an effort to continually raise awareness among the general public, including government school students. The event took place at the Coimbatore District Collector's office, where District Collector Kranthikumar and Pollachi MP Shanmuga Sundaram inspected the vehicles and officially flagged them off. Before the launch, a private school music group performed a musical salute to the district collector.

These awareness vehicles will visit all government schools in the district to spread awareness. They are also scheduled to visit popular public gathering places to maximize their reach. The event also featured two individuals dressed as 'Veeramangai' (brave woman), who energized the crowd. Many district sports officials and student athletes were present, highlighting the district's commitment to promoting sports and encouraging participation in the Khelo India Games.
