Makkaludan Mudhalvar Camp Successfully Conducted in Valparai's Attakatti Area

The Makkaludan Mudhalvar camp, a significant public interaction initiative by the Chief Minister, was successfully held in Valparai's Attakatti region, focusing on community needs and issues.


Coimbatore: From the 2nd to the 6th of this month, the Makkaludan Mudhalvar camp, led by the Chief Minister, was held in the Attakatti area of Valparai, Coimbatore district. The camp, part of a public engagement initiative, covered various regions including the first and second wards, Kavarkal, Shakti, Thalanar, Oomaiyandi Mudakku, Waterfalls estate areas, and the tribal villages of Poonaatchi, Keezh Poonaatchi, Vellimudi, and Apparaaliyar.

Initiated at 10 AM and concluding at 3 PM, the camp witnessed active participation from government department officials, encompassing Municipal Administration, Revenue, Health, Fire Service, Education, Public Works, Police, and Forestry. They addressed a range of public grievances including requests for housing, sanitation, educational loans, women's rights funds, senior citizen assistance, widow aid, support for orphaned children, and disability assistance. A total of 213 petitions were received, with a commitment from officials to resolve these within 30 days.





The event saw attendance from local authorities such as Coimbatore District Deputy Collector Niramadhi, Valparai Tahsildar Vasudevan, Municipal Commissioner Perpetti Terence Leo, City Council Chairperson Alagu Sundaravalli, Vice Chairperson Senthilkumar, Municipal Engineer Venkatachalam, DMK City Secretary Sudhakar, and all ward members.
