Devotees Queue Up for Darshan at Udumalai Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple

Marking the English New Year, devotees thronged Udumalai Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple early this morning, where the deity was adorned in golden armor for blessings.


Coimbatore: At the Udumalai Tirupati Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple in the Tirupur district, a significant number of devotees lined up for darshan on the occasion of the English New Year. Early this morning, at around 5:30 AM, Sri Venkatesa Perumal, adorned in a golden armor, bestowed blessings to the devotees.



The temple also conducted special rituals, including the Thirumanjanam (holy bath) and special poojas for the main deity. Following this, the coins offered to Sri Perumal by the devotees were returned to them as a form of blessings.



Hundreds of devotees were seen standing in long queues for the darshan today, reflecting their devotion and the temple’s significance in the region.
