Tailor Killed in Tractor Collision near Dharapuram, Protest at Hospital

A tailor from Dharapuram was killed in a tractor collision. His family and others staged a protest at the Dharapuram Government Hospital demanding justice.


Tirupur: In a tragic incident near Dharapuram, Murugan (50), a tailor from Karaiyur, was fatally injured when his two-wheeler was hit by a tractor. Despite immediate medical attention at Dharapuram Government Hospital, Murugan succumbed to his injuries.

The driver of the tractor, identified as Balasubramaniam, is being sought by police following a complaint filed by Murugan's wife.



Over 50 relatives and acquaintances staged a sit-in protest at the hospital premises, demanding the arrest of Balasubramaniam.

This incident has caused significant unrest at the Dharapuram Government Hospital, as Murugan's relatives and other protestors demand justice for the deceased tailor.
