Coimbatore Celebrates with 20,000 LED Lights and Laser Show Test Run for New Year

Coimbatore's New Year celebration included a test run of a laser show featuring 20,000 LED lights at various Smart City project sites. Spectators enjoyed the illuminated Valankulam and the dazzling laser display.


Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, under the Smart City project, various development works have been completed, and beautification efforts continue throughout the city.



As part of welcoming the year 2024, the Municipal Corporation, in collaboration with the Trump organization, has organized a laser show adorned with approximately 20,000 colored lights at the prominent tourist spot, Valankulam.



During the trial run, Valankulam was decked out with colorful lights, followed by a laser show.



Spectators on the bridge and nearby areas enjoyed this spectacle. The New Year's Eve celebration will feature more than a hundred drones, forming star shapes and displaying "Happy New Year" messages. This will be followed by various musical performances on the lakeside.
