Painting and Sports Competitions Organized for Government School Students by Police Department in Coimbatore

Coimbatore District Police organize art and essay competitions for government school students in Valparai, fostering positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the youth.


Coimbatore: In a bid to strengthen the bond between law enforcement officers and the public, the Coimbatore District Police, particularly the Kattoor Police Department, organized painting and essay competitions for students from government schools. The event, held at Valparai in Kattoor, saw active participation from 50 enthusiastic students.

The initiative aimed to create awareness among students about the role of the police department and the importance of public safety. The painting and essay competitions focused on themes related to road safety and disaster preparedness. Students were encouraged to express their ideas and knowledge about these topics through their artwork and writing.







The event witnessed the presence of police officers, school teachers, and students, making it a collaborative effort to promote understanding and cooperation between the police and the community. The participants displayed their creative skills through vibrant paintings and thoughtful essays, showcasing their understanding of the subjects.

Winners of the competitions will be felicitated in a prize distribution ceremony scheduled for the upcoming Monday. The Coimbatore District Police, under the leadership of the police officials, teachers, and school staff, are dedicated to encouraging educational activities that not only enhance students’ knowledge but also foster a sense of responsibility towards societal well-being.
