Incessant rain in Valparai - Two houses collapsed and damaged

Due to incessant rains in Valparai, the roofs of two houses collapsed. Fortunately, those in the house survived.


Coimbatore: Normal life has been affected due to incessant rains in Valparai, Coimbatore.

Valparai in coimbatore district has been receiving heavy rains and heavy rains continuously for the past two weeks.

Due to this, minor landslides are occurring at various places. Due to this, the staircases and retaining walls get damaged.

In this case, the roof of the house of Amutha in Anna Nagar near Valparai town collapsed and the house of Arumugam was also damaged nearby.



As a result, the roof of two houses was damaged and the occupants of the house escaped unharmed.



On receiving the information, Valparai municipal councillor Kamakshi Ganesan, city corporation secretary Sudhakaran and the municipal administration visited the affected area and consoled them and arranged for relief.

Normal life of the public has been badly affected due to continuous rains.
