AIADMK-BJP alliance: MLA Vanathi Srinivasan asserts she can't make any comment on alliance split

BJP women's wing national president Vanathi Srinivasan in Coimbatore has said that she will not comment till the national leadership gives her a comment even as the AIADMK has announced that it will withdraw from the BJP alliance.


Coimbatore: The AIADMK, chaired by Edappadi K Palaniswami, held in Chennai today, has unanimously decided that it will withdraw from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alliance and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) from today, officially said.

Speaking to reporters, BJP state president Annamalai had said that the party's national leadership would announce the issue.

Speaking to reporters, BJP national women's wing president Vanathi Srinivasan said, "The BJP state president has already conveyed this and we will not comment until the national leadership announces it," she said. "When the national leadership gives us instructions at the right time, we express our views and we are not authorised to comment on the comments made by the AIADMK and their decisions," Srinivasan said.
