RSS' view is the same as that of the Taliban - Durai Vaiko in Coimbatore

Sanatanam is a different culture and Hinduism is different. Dravidians and Dravidian movements are not against Hinduism. Durai Vaiko has said that Hinduism is a way of life.

Coimbatore: Sanadhanam is a different culture and Hinduism is different. Dravidians and Dravidian movements are not against Hinduism. Durai Vaiko has said that Hinduism is a way of life.

On the occasion of Perarignar Anna's birth anniversary, the MDMK will hold a conference in Madurai on September 15.

In this situation, the Coimbatore zonal meeting on the conference was held at the MDMK office in Siddhapudur area of Coimbatore.

The party's principal secretary Durai Vaiko attended the meeting and held discussions with party functionaries on the public meeting.

He later told reporters,

Sanatana culture is different, Hinduism is different. Dravidians and Dravidian movements are not against Hinduism. Hinduism is a way of life. Some of them twisted and created castes to create division among the people.

Periyar, Ambedkar, Anna, Kalaignar and others fought not against Hinduism. The Dravidian outfits including DMK, AIADMK and MDMK have been portraying Udhayanidhi Stalin as an enemy of Hindus by distorting his 48-hour-long speech in the north. They are doing this to hide and divert attention from the shortcomings of the central government as the Lok Sabha elections are coming up.

Since the ruling party is afraid of the India alliance of the opposition parties, they are trying to create religious vendetta. Love is Shivam is the religion of Hinduism. A godman in Ayodhya says like a Taliban that he will comb Udhayanidhi's neck. In Afghanistan, the Taliban say that women should not study and that they will slit their throats if they give an alternative opinion.

The same opinion is the RSS opinion. This is sanatanam. Don't do politics on the basis of religion and caste. There may be discussion. But there should not be violence. They are trying to distort Udhayanidhi's speech to create an impression that the DMK-India alliance is against Hinduism and the followers of Hinduism.

"Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal have spoken out against this false propaganda. Even before the name Bharat came into the Constitution, the name India came into being. Is the name change necessary now when there are so many problems in the country? This is an unnecessary controversy.

"We don't see any shortcomings about the DMK regime. "Edappadi K Palaniswami has blamed the DMK government for being the leader of the opposition. One nation, one election is not possible. In many elections, the majority does not come. So the government can fall at any time. They are bringing this to create confusion in the Indian alliance.

State governments are not responsible for the hike in electricity tariff. The central government is responsible. Electricity tariff has been hiked in BJP-ruled states. Unity in diversity is the foundation of India. The name India came before the British era. Will the RBI, BCCI change the names as well? Durai Vaiko said it was an unnecessary mess.
