Action should be taken against Dinamalar newspaper - Parents petition Coimbatore district collector

The children and parents came together to the Coimbatore district collectorate and submitted a memorandum to district collector Kranthi Kumar Pati seeking action against dinamalar daily for defaming the breakfast scheme.


Coimbatore: Parents have requested the district collector to take action against the editor and publisher of Dinamalar daily for playing with the issue of children's food.



The children and parents came together to the Coimbatore district collector's office and submitted a memorandum to the district collector Kranthi Kumar Pati seeking action against dinamalar newspaper.



Later, in an interview to the press, the parents said that the breakfast scheme is very useful for the children and due to the work load, there is often a disruption in providing breakfast to the children due to the work load.

It is a matter of great anguish and anguish that dinamalar newspaper has published a news item in which the breakfast scheme has been defamed. It is highly condemnable that this news is coming at a time when this scheme is mostly benefitting children at work. The parents said that a request has been made to the district collector on behalf of the parents to take legal action against the editor and publisher of dinamalar newspaper.
