Leopard spotted near Valparai government hospital

The public, doctors and nurses were in a state of panic after a leopard roamed around the premises of valparai government hospital around 9 pm last night. As the CCTV footage of the incident has been released, the public has requested the forest department to capture the leopard immediately.



Coimbatore: A leopard roaming in the premises of valparai government hospital has created panic.

The wildlife movement is on the rise in the estate areas around Valparai in Coimbatore district. People in the area are in a state of fear as leopards, wild elephants, bears, wild boars, etc., are roaming around in the residential area.

In this situation, a leopard went near the Valparai government hospital at around 9 pm in the hospital premises. This was captured in a CCTV camera installed in a nearby building.

Around 9 pm, when the nurse and the doctor came from the hospital and the two-wheeler arrived, the leopard was seen moving around, leaving people shocked.

People are in fear due to the movement of leopards in the residential area. The public have demanded that the forest department should immediately catch the leopard roaming inside the residential area.
