Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's 78th death anniversary: Blood Donation Society, floral tributes paid to portrait

On the occasion of the 78th death anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Gudalur Koundampalayam near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore, the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Blood Donation Society under the leadership of Gudalur Municipality President Arivarasu garlanded the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and offered floral tributes.



Coimbatore: On the occasion of netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's death anniversary, a blood donation society in Coimbatore paid floral tributes to his portrait by garlanding his portrait.

Many across the country are paying homage to the statues of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 78th death anniversary. As a part of this, a memorial service was held at Gudalur Koundampalayam near Periyanaickenpalayam in Coimbatore on the occasion of the 78th death anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.



Gudalur Municipality President Arivarasu presided over the function and Subhas Chandra Bose explained the history of veera to the school students and garlanded the statue of Netaji and offered floral tributes.



Following this, the general public and school students offered floral tributes.



They also garlanded the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Kamaraj in the vicinity.



Municipality Vice-President Rathi Rajendran, Councillors Akhil Chandrasekhar, Bank Murugesan, Durai Senthilkumar, Balasubramaniyam, Genardhanan, Rekha, Gudalur Municipality Government Primary School Headmaster Uma, School Education Committee's Pon Madasamy, teachers and students were present on the occasion.

K R Selvam, K Rajagopal, P Muthuraja, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Friends Charitable Trust Secretary AnandaBabu, Padayappa and the elders of the village participated in large numbers and offered floral tributes.
