Former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's death anniversary silent rally - Minister S Muthusamy leads

On the occasion of the 5th death anniversary of former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, the DMK in Coimbatore district took out a silent march from Nehru Stadium to Anna Statue in Gandhipuram. It was inaugurated by Housing and Urban Development Minister S Muthusamy.



Coimbatore: On the occasion of the 5th death anniversary of former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, the DMK held a peace rally in Coimbatore.

The fifth death anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi is being observed today.



On this occasion, a massive peace march was held from Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore to Anna Statue in Gandhipuram on behalf of the unified Coimbatore district.



Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Minister Muthusamy inaugurated the peace rally in the presence of City District Secretary Na Karthik, North District Secretary Thondamuthur Ravi and South District Secretary Thalapathy Murugesan.



Thousands of DMK functionaries, party workers, including the mayor and deputy mayor of the corporation, attended the meeting.
