CPI(M) workers protest in Coimbatore against Manipur riots

Communist Party of India (Marxist) staged a protest at Tatabad area of Sivananda Colony in Coimbatore against the BJP government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to control the Manipur riots and the incident of rape of two women.



Coimbatore: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) staged a protest in Coimbatore against the violence in Manipur.



Manipur has been witnessing clashes between the two sides for more than three months now. According to reports, hundreds of people have died and thousands of people have been seriously injured.

Meanwhile, the incident of rape of two women in Manipur has shocked the entire country.

Various sections of the society have been protesting and protesting against the BJP government for the violence in Manipur.



In this situation, cpi(m) activists staged a protest at Tatabad area of Sivananda Colony in Coimbatore.



More than 300 people, including Tamil Nadu state secretary Balakrishnan, state executive committee member Gunasekaran and padmanabhan, participated in the protest and raised slogans condemning the BJP government and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
