In an effort to make Coimbatore a paradise, 3,060 students have joined hands to produce 25 lakh seed balls, which has entered the world record book.

Organized jointly by N G Ramasamy Memorial Higher Secondary School, Singanallur and Ruthampara Foundation, 3,060 students joined hands to produce 25 lakh seed balls in the premises of Thyagi N G Ramasamy Memorial Higher Secondary School.
Sathasivan, the headmaster of the school, said that the seed balls produced here will be thrown in the Western Ghats, in the forest areas of Coimbatore, ponds and ponds in order to make Coimbatore an oasis and to protect the environment.
It is to be noted that this seedball event featuring the seeds of country trees made it to the World Book of Records.
