Tirupur: A group of people staged a protest near Palladam alleging that toxic fumes were emanating from a tar factory owned by actor Sivakarthikeyan.



A privately owned tar making unit is functioning at VRP Nagar near 63 Velampalayam near Palladam.



It is said that the toxic fumes are emanating from this tar-making factory.

Due to this, the public has repeatedly complained that the people living nearby are suffering from respiratory problems and health hazards.



However, as no action was taken, the public sat on the ground in front of the tar-making factory and staged a protest.



In this case, the public also informed that the tar manufacturing factory belongs to actor Sivakarthikeyan.

On this, the public said, are sivakarthikeyan's dialogues in the recently released movie Maaveeran just for acting? They asked the question.

They demanded strict action against the tar factory for emitting toxic fumes.
