Coimbatore Taxation Appellate Committee Member Election - Held under the chairmanship of Corporation Commissioner

As per the order of the State Election Commission, Corporation Commissioner Prathap presented certificates to those who won the indirect election for the members of the Coimbatore Corporation Taxation Appellate Committee.


Coimbatore: Nine candidates have won the election to the coimbatore corporation's taxation appellate committee.

As per the order of the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission, the indirect election for the members of coimbatore corporation taxation appellate committee was held at 9.30 am on Thursday at victoria hall hall hall in the corporation's main office under the chairmanship of corporation commissioner Prathap.

Apart from the 22 councillors of ward no.7, 9, 17, 38, 39, 43, 44, 47, 48, 56, 74, 75, 78, 85, 86, 90, 91, 95, 96, 97, 98 and 99, 78 members of the Council attended the indirect election. 10 councillors filed nominations for the post of members of the taxation appellate committee.

Ward No 69 - Saravanakumar

Ward No 41 - K Shanthi

Ward No 83 - V Suma

Ward No 58 - Sumitra

Ward No 45 - Babysudha

Ward No 6 - Ponnusamy

Ward No 76 - Rajkumar

The nine candidates received the most votes and won as members of the taxation appellate committee.



Therefore, the Corporation Returning Officer issued certificates to those who won the election to the members of the Taxation Appellate Committee by securing the highest number of votes.



Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar, Deputy Mayor R Vetriselvan, Zonal Committee Presidents and members of the Council were present on the occasion.
