Asia Hockey Cup tournament launched in Udumalpet - ministers inaugurate

At the launch of the 7th Asia Cup Men's Hockey Cup logo held at Government Boys' School, Udumalpet, Tamil Nadu Information Minister M P Saminathan and Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi were also present.



Tirupur: The 7th Asia Cup Men's Hockey Cup and logo launch function was held at Udumalai Government Boys' School.



The 7th Asia Cup men's hockey trophy opening ceremony and the logo of the seventh Asian Hockey Tournament were launched at the Netaji Stadium, owned by the Government Boys Higher Secondary School on Udumalai Kalpana Road in Tirupur district.



Later, saplings were distributed to hockey players. Earlier, a grand parade was performed by the students of Amaravati Nagar Military Training School.



Tamil Nadu Information Minister M P Saminathan, Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi, District Collector Christuraj, Tirupur District Superintendent of Police Swaminathan, District Rural Development Project Director Lakshmanan, Tirupur Corporation 4th Zone President Ila Padmanabhan and officials of the Sports Department of Tirupur district were present on the occasion.
