Manipur government should be dissolved - Resolution at a protest in Tirupur

All Islamic Jamaat, United Islamic Jama'ath Federation and Tirupur Sakin Bagh Protest Group jointly staged a protest at CTC Corner on Kangayam Road in Tirupur.

Tirupur: A resolution was passed demanding the dissolution of the Manipur government at a protest organised by various Islamic organisations in Tirupur.

Manipur has been witnessing violent incidents for the past two months. A video of two tribal women being tortured and paraded naked has gone viral on social media, sending shock waves across the country.

Protests are taking place across the country condemning this and demanding legal action against those responsible.

All Islamic Jamaat, United Islamic Jama'ath Federation and Tirupur Sakin Bagh Protest Group jointly staged a protest at CTC Corner on Kangayam Road in Tirupur.

The Manipur incident was a planned genocide by the BJP government at the protest, which was attended by thousands of people. The BJP government at the Centre should make this clear in Parliament. Resolutions were passed, including the dissolution of the BJP government in Manipur.

The protest was attended by Sasikanth Senthil, a former IAS officer and state coordinator of the Indian National Congress party, and Valarmathi of the Welfare Students' Movement.
