Tirupur: Near Dharapuram, expired tablets and medicines were found lying on the roadside, causing a stir among the people.

On the Alangiyam Kongur Road near Dharapuram in Tirupur district, people who went to the field in the morning were shocked to find hundreds of tablets and injections used for medicines lying on the roadside.

In the tablets lying in the garbage, it is mentioned that it is being supplied by the Tamil Nadu government and not for sale.

The question arises as to whether the tablets and medicines supplied for the use of the people were kept without being given to the people and dumped in the garbage after expiry, whether the remaining medicines were not handed over to the proper place and who did this?

The community activists have demanded that the authorities concerned investigate who is responsible for the dumping of medicines and garbage that is supposed to reach the people and take appropriate action.
