SDPI activists protest against NIA officials in Coimbatore

SDPI activists staged a protest against the raid by the NIA officials at the residences of party functionaries in connection to the PMK functionary Ramalingam murder in Kumbakonam.


Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, the SDPI activists staged a protest against the raid by the NIA officials at the residences of party functionaries.

The NIA today conducted searches at the residences of former office-bearers of the Popular Front of India (PFI) and the residences of sdp office-bearers in Tamil Nadu.

The NIA conducted searches at 24 locations in Tamil Nadu, including Coimbatore, and seized cash and mobile phones from the residences of the office-bearers.



In this context, the NIA officials have conducted raids at the residences of sdpi state president Nellai Mubarak and all-India executive committee member Thanjavur Farooq. SDPI activists staged a protest in Ukkadam area of Coimbatore.

More than 200 people participated in the protest and raised slogans against the central government.
