Town Panchayat President Resigns from BJP After Questioning Party's Commitment'

Under the leadership of Rudravathi town panchayat president Kannammal, the town panchayat has voiced their protest against the absence of Union Minister L Murugan and others for a long time by giving more than 5,000 votes to the BJP in the last assembly elections. The town panchayat has seven ward members belonging to the BJP, yet the party leadership has not seemed to take notice of their efforts.



Tirupur: Kannammal is the president of Rudravathi town panchayat in Tirupur district's Dharapuram taluk. In the last assembly elections, the BJP got the highest number of votes in Rudravathi.

In this situation, we gave the BJP over 5,000 votes in the recent assembly elections, led by Rudravathi town panchayat president Kannammal, to protest the protracted absence of Union Minister L Murugan and others.

The BJP has seven members in the town panchayat.But so far, the party leadership has not noticed us.
