Kalaignar Centenary Celebrations - Medical camps in Coimbatore

As part of the centenary celebrations of kalaignar, medical camps are being organised today in Coimbatore.To commemorate Kalaignar Karunanidhi's birth centennial, the Department of Medical and Health is holding multi-specialty medical camps in the Coimbatore district today.



Coimbatore: As part of the kalaignar centenary celebrations, medical camps are being organised in Coimbatore today.

The Department of Medical and Health is organising multi-specialty medical camps throughout Coimbatore district today to mark the birth centenary celebrations of Kalaignar Karunanidhi.



These camps are being conducted at Karamadai Tholampalayam Government High School, Kanuvai Government Middle School, Pollachi Samathur Rama Iyengar Government Higher Secondary School, Kuniyamuthur Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Vadavalli Maruthamalai Subramanya Swamy Devasthanam Government Higher Secondary School and Sulur Kannampalayam Government High School.

Apart from this, the complete blood test is carried out free of cost along with blood pressure test, urine test, echo and ECG, breast cancer and cervical cancer diagnostic test for women, etc. Siddha medicine and Ayurvedic treatment advice is also offered.
