As a lead up to the International Day of Yoga Celebrations, Isha Yoga Center and Atmalayam organization conducted a free yoga class today (June 18) at Thirukazhukundram Vedagiriswarar temple. Participants were taught simple yet potent yogic practices such as Yoga Namaskar and Nadi Shuddhi by yoga teachers who were trained by Sadhguru.

Yoga teachers trained by Sadhguru taught them simple yet potent yogic practices such as Yoga Namaskar and Nadi Shuddhi. These simple yogic practices can improve physical and mental health and bring overall well-being. Isha also conducted a yoga session yesterday (June 17) at Chengalpattu Vidya Sagar School in which 550 students participated.

As part of the International Day of Yoga celebrations, the Isha Foundation is giving free online Yoga sessions throughout the month of June, where anyone with no prior yoga experience can attend the 45-minute guided sessions and begin their yoga journey. They can also download the Sadhguru app, which is available in 12 languages and offers a variety of knowledge videos, free guided meditations, and yoga practices.

The classes can also be organised in schools, colleges, offices, residential complexes, etc. A minimum of 15 people are required to participate in the class. Interested organisations can register through the link: Isha.co/idysessionrequest to host the session.
