Unidentified Man Commits Suicide After evicted from MLA Vanathi Srinivasan's Office

In a bizarre incident, an unidentified man barged into Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan’s office and locked the door. After he was expelled from the office, he committed suicide by jumping in front of a bus shortly thereafter. The police investigation revealed that he had a tattoo of Om Shiva on his body.



Coimbatore: On Monday, an unidentified person attempted to lock up the office of the Coimbatore South MLA, Vanathi Srinivasan, in The Race Course area of Coimbatore.



The assailant was beaten up by Vijayan, an aide of Srinivasan. However, when police investigation revealed that the assailant had a tattoo of Om Shiva on his body, a series of questions arose about why he targeted the office of the MLA.



He committed suicide within minutes by lying on the back tyre of a government bus outside the G D Museum near Anna Statue. 



The police collected all CCTV footage of a man entering the assembly office and committed suicide.

Meanwhile, MLA Vanathi Srinivasan had demanded an inquiry into the identity of the person who entered the office and the purpose for which he entered the office.



On examination of the deceased, it was found that he had a tattoo of 'Om Shiva' on his chest. The person who entered the office was reported to have spoken in Malayalam. The Race Course Road police are still investigating about the person.
