Coimbatore is a major manufacturer of motors and pumps in southern India. Bharathan, who has been active in electric car manufacture in Coimbatore for the past 20 years, has been involved in electric vehicle production through a new firm called Osotex.
Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan launched the electric two-wheeler, which has been developed to carry loads in all commercial sectors, including agriculture and micro-enterprises.
Bharathan, the company's owner, stated about the new vehicle, "The vehicle has been developed with a powerful 10 kwh battery that can cover a distance of up to 525 km on a single charge." We have developed this vehicle as a completely indigenously manufactured vehicle.

The vehicle, which was developed with mobile apps such as Bluetooth, GPS, and other mobile applications, was designed with current technical facilities to carry huge loads and was well received by all sections of the society.
Meanwhile, a new electric two-wheeler was given to a differently-abled person from 'Pasiyara Soru,' an organisation that provides free food in Coimbatore.
