A long-standing demand of the public in the 15th ward of Coimbatore Corporation, the Urban Health Centre Hospital was inaugurated at Periyar Nagar in Subramanyampalayam. It was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin through video conferencing.
Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin inaugurated the urban health centre hospital in the 15th ward of coimbatore corporation, a long-standing demand of the public.
Constructed by the Tamil Nadu Government's Department of Medical and Health, it was inaugurated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin through video conferencing.

Ward 15 councillor Santhamani Pachaimuthu, assistant town planning officer Vimala, doctor Harini of the centre and councillor's assistant Sheikh Abdul Khader lit the lamp and distributed sweets to the public.
Doctors, nurses and pharmacists will be present at the medical centre daily from 8 am to 12 noon and from 4 pm to 8 pm. It has been informed that patients can take care of the doctors during that time.

The centre also provides 12 services including antenatal and antenatal services, infant and child health services, family welfare, treatment of patients, treatment of dental diseases, accident and emergency medical treatment.
It has been advised to be utilized by the public in and around Subramanyampalayam. Dr. Manoj of Thudiyalur Government Primary Health Centre, DMK party functionaries Palaniswami, Natarajan, Aarusamy, Chinnaiyan, Ganesan, Health Supervisor Sakthivel, Assistant Anbazhagan, Young Engineer Srinivasan Mahesh, Technical Assistant Deepan and others participated in the event.
